Magewell is Updating Firmware of Ultra Encode Family

Dear Magewell partners,

 

Magewell is updating firmware of all the five models in Ultra Encode Family to V2.3.132, which enables users to access more advanced new features. Please see the details as follows.

 
What's New:

Ultra Encode HDMI/SDI:

• Add Blend algorithm for deinterlacing.
  
• Update NDI® version to 5.6.
  
• RTSP supports sending NTP timestamp.
  
• Fix known issues.
   
  Ultra Encode HDMI Plus:

• Update NDI version to 5.6.
  
• Add Blend algorithm for deinterlacing.
  
• Increase the number of audio streams to 8, with channels 1-8 available for channel mapping.
  
• SRT Caller, SRT Listener, TS over RTP or TS over UDP supports selecting up to 8 audio tracks.
  
• RTSP supports sending NTP timestamp.
  
• Fix known issues.
   
  Ultra Encode SDI Plus:

• Update NDI version to 5.6.

  Ultra Encode AIO:

• Add 2560x1440 resolution support for primary stream encoding.
  
• Add support for connecting to wireless networks with WPA2 Enterprise encryption.
  
• Fix the issue in NDI HX where top and bottom field information was not specified when sending interlaced encoded streams.
  
• Update NDI version to 5.6.
  
• Add Blend algorithm for deinterlacing.
  
• Increase the number of audio streams to 8, with channels 1-16 available for channel mapping.

All the five firmware for Ultra Encode Family have already been available on Magewell website, users can download it at the product pages and Downloads page.

We recommend you to update your stock. We'll start to use the new firmware in the future productions. Please update it to your customers if necessary. Thank you!
