Magewell is Updating USB Capture Utility September 4th, 2024  

Dear Magewell partners,

Magewell is updating USB Capture Utility, the software tool for USB Capture devices, to V3.0.5.48132. Please see the details as follows.  

What's New:

Windows OS:

• Support customizing device name, audio control for USB Capture AIO/USB Capture DVI Plus/USB Capture SDI 4K Plus/USB Capture SDI Plus/USB Capture SDI Gen 2 products (product firmware needs to be upgraded to V2.6.10385 and above).
• Support for USB Capture HDMI 4K Pro.
• Fix known issues.

MacOS:

• Support customizing device name, audio control for USB Capture HDMI Gen 2/USB Capture HDMI Plus/USB Capture AIO/USB Capture DVI Plus/USB Capture SDI 4K Plus/USB Capture SDI Plus/USB Capture SDI Gen 2 (The firmware must be upgraded to V2.6.10385 and above).
• Support customizing device name, audio control and viewing core temperature for for USB Capture HDMI 4K Plus (The firmware must be upgraded to V2.6.10385 and above).
• Support for USB Capture HDMI 4K Pro.
• Fix known issues.

Linux OS (Ubuntu & CentOS):

• Support customizing device name, audio control for USB Capture HDMI Gen 2/USB Capture HDMI Plus/USB Capture AIO/USB Capture DVI Plus/USB Capture SDI 4K Plus/USB Capture SDI Plus/USB Capture SDI Gen 2 (The firmware must be upgraded to V2.6.10385 and above).
• Support customizing device name, audio control and viewing core temperature for for USB Capture HDMI 4K Plus (The firmware must be upgraded to V2.6.10385 and above).
• Support for USB Capture HDMI 4K Pro.
• Fix known issues.

Availability:

USB Capture Utility V3.0.5.48132 is now available on Magewell website. Users can download it from the Downloads page. Please update it to your customers if necessary. Thank you!
